South Dakota Chislic festival returns this weekend

The South Dakota Chislic Festival returns this weekend to the Prairie Arboretum in Freeman, SD.

There will be live music all day by The Jim River Band, Uncle Roy and the Boys, Maggie in the Meantime and Mogan’s Heros, Helicoptor Rides by Ride the Sky, Bean Bag tournament by the Menno Pink Ladies, historical and cultural exhibits by the Heritage Hall Meuseum and Archives and the Menno Pioneer Power Show, Kidzone with inflatables and games by the First Church of God-Marion, Bingo, plenty of vendors to shop, food vendors providing all your favorite festival foods, Ben’s Brewery with a custom “Slic” beer, and of course, plenty of Chislic.

The festival on Saturday begins at 10 a.m. and will run till 9 p.m. There is no admission fee and parking is free!
